Daniel Helton was born in Fort Myers, Florida. His marching experience includes the Magic of Orlando World Class D&B Corps and the Alliance of Miami World Class Winter Guard.
He has contributed as a color guard and movement staff member with many Drum & Bugle Corps, High School Marching Band Programs as well as both Scholastic & Independent Winter Guards. Many of which have competed at the Drum Corps International World Championships and Winter Guard International World Championships.
Daniel has over 10 years of experience on staff with the Music N Motion Summer Color Guard Camps. He also has experience as a color guard and visual movement clinician. His color guard judging experience includes the Equipment, Design Analysis & General Effect captions. His Marching Band, Indoor Percussion & Indoor Winds judging experience includes the Ensemble Visual and Visual Performance captions.
He has judged in many states including Tennessee, Iowa & Nebraska for circuits such as the East Tennessee Performing Arts Association, the Heartland Winter Arts Association and the Utah Color Guard Circuit.
His professional goal is for students to excel in the technical fundamentals and the expressive performance qualities of the pageantry arts. He also believes in a strong emphasis on team building concepts. His passion is the design and development of custom winds, flag, rifle & sabre choreography.
Daniel has 25+ years of teaching experience with every level of program and is a dedicated Winds Visual Designer, Color Guard Designer, Choreographer & Judge. Daniel is currently the Founder of the B & D Dynamic Productions Design Group, Head Choreographer/Assistant Color Guard Director/Winds Visual Designer for the Summerville High School Band Program, Judge for the Heartland Winter Arts Association, Utah Color Guard Circuit & staff member of the Lace Up Studios Dance Program.
